SAF Record

This record is on injures, facts, and other things that has happened to Alan Alda. As you may know it takes a while for me, myself, to watch so many episodes, but when I'm watching, with Dial-Up by the way, I will make notes on what I have found. Alan Alda for his science show hosting made him a Science Comintator, which means he tested out the science stuff, but beware I tried passing him off for my science report and you'd have to have a pretty nieve teacher to do it off or a good arguement. Eh, I wanted an easy A, I came home and I was like "HE'S ALAN ALDA, HE CAN DO ANYTHING! HE CAN BE THE PRESIDENT IF HE FEELS UP TO IT!"  You can veiw these episodes and watch more Scientific American Fronteirs at www.pbs.org type in Scientific American Fronteirs or Alan Alda. You can look for a schedule in your area and play tons of games and watch more segments. You can not find something that wouldn't be of interest. I HIGHLY recommend it for reports, school papers, and more. Yes, I'm addicted...

Inventions and Tested out devices.

Alda All-Angel Anti-Red Eye Periscope (Prototype)- This device was modeled by Alan and made to prevent red-eye's of pictures taken by a camera. He gave me the clue that when he tried it before with cardboard it didn't work, so he went and got it made from plastic and it worked!

In Panama there was a bee place and Alan numbered a bee for science, this number of course is 78. 78 is his bee!

Injures and other unexpected problems.

On Coming to America epsiode Alan was asked to smash open this huge bone. It took him about two or three tries, but he cut his hand.

On Hot Times in Alaska he went into a drunken forrest, which is a forrest that got so swampy it just kind of leans different ways. Well, he was scoping his way only using a stick and there was a huge gap, which his whole entire boot got sucked into the cold mucky water.

In Pet Tech when he was giving Tug, the dog, a treat he got his fingers bit. Which I know how it feels because I have two treat monsters like that.

In another episode, which I can not recall at this moment when he got hit by a monkey. I know this scene can also be watched on the episode "The Fronteirs Decade"
